Union of Chambers of Commerce, at the Ceremony held on 11.03.2016 in the Macedonian Opera and Ballet in honor of prominent business successes in the economy for 2016, the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje assign business award - Golden Coin for high standards in implementing entrepreneurship in education in the country.

The academy in the Macedonian Opera and Ballet, the University was represented by Zoran Gjorgjeski, Secretary General of the University of Tourism and Management, Saso Kozhuharov PhD, Vice-Rector for Science and Development, Daliborka Blazeska PhD, Dean of the Faculty of International Marketing and Management, Natasha Ristovska Assoc. Dr., Dean of the Faculty of entrepreneurial business. The award on behalf of the University received the Secretary General of UTMS Zoran Gjorgjeski.

University of Tourism and Management in Skopje is the only higher education institution in the country which received this business award - Golden coin for the establishment of the high standards and quality in implementation of the entrepreneurship in education.

University of Tourism and Management in Skopje provides an innovative approach to the education in the field of business management and entrepreneurship through a study program at the Faculty of entrepreneurial business.

Following the current trends in education and the needs of the labor market, the University of Tourism and Management founded the only Faculty of entrepreneurial business in the state. Faculty of entrepreneurial business enables the students to acquire the knowledge and skills to be entrepreneurial leaders, to start a business or become generators of innovation in the companies in which they work.

This award is a confirmation of the continuing efforts of the University for excellence in the field of education and the establishment and implementation of successful cooperation with the business community.

The academy was attended by academics, ambassadors, ministers and deputy ministers, numerous members of the business community, institutions and Organisations, gold coins were awarded to successful companies in Macedonia for high achievements in quality and scope of their operations.
