The lecture covered key aspects of business analysis of IT products, including defining a value proposition, analyzing target markets, identifying user needs, developing a business model canvas, and assessing the sustainability and scalability of digital solutions. Special emphasis was placed on product management methodologies, agile approaches and minimum viable product (MVP), as well as analytical tools for measuring performance and user behavior. In the section dedicated to the freelance model, platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr and Toptal were analyzed, with a focus on positioning the individual brand, managing clients, negotiating projects, legal and tax aspects, as well as building a long-term professional reputation. Students gained practical insight into how IT experts can combine technical expertise with an entrepreneurial approach, developing their own digital products or offering specialized services on the global market. The lecture contributed to the development of business thinking, financial literacy and strategic planning, thus encouraging autonomy and professional adaptability in the modern dynamic IT environment.
