MISSION OF THE FACULTY OF INFORMATICS

With the development of the information sector and the need for new technologies in the Republic of Macedonia with a huge absorptive power of highly qualified personnel, the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje founded a Faculty of Informatics, whose goal is to provide support to this sector with quality staff. Taking into account the experience of private and state universities in the country, as well as the needs of the global market in the world, a team of professors with many years of academic experience and experts from the field will transfer their knowledge in order to gain students with applicable, of today's information world.
The priority goal in the functioning of the Faculty of Informatics is to profil personnel according to the study programs in Software Engineering, competent to engage in the labor market for matters related to performing the most complex business activities in the field of computer science.

VISION OF THE FACULTY OF INFORMATION

The vision of the Faculty of Informatics is the belonging to the prestigious institutions in the area of informatics and the new technologies, as well as providing support for the international integration of the Republic of Macedonia from the aspect of international competitiveness and transfer of knowledge and technology.
By building a leading position in education in the field of information science and software engineering, the faculty will contribute to the development and well-being of society through higher education, in which new generations will acquire, apply and upgrade the knowledge and the necessary skills to become competitive citizens in the new global world.
