CALL FOR ENROLMENT
of students in the first cycle of university undergraduate studies and the second cycle of university (master's) studies at the University of Skopje - Skopje, in the academic year 2026/2027 in the Macedonian and the English language

Second cycle diploma (two-year, 3+2): Master of Informatics (10 students)
The first and second cycle studies are in the scientific-research areas and fields:
1 Natural and mathematical sciences, field 1.02 Informatics, 2 Technical and technological sciences, field 212 computer technology and informatics, 5 social sciences, field 503 economic sciences, 506 organizational sciences and management and 514 tourism and hospitality from the Classification of scientific and research areas, fields and areas according to the International Frascati Classification.
I. Number of students
At the University of Skopje - Skopje, in the first year of the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies, for the above-mentioned study programs, in the academic year 2026/2027, a total of 175 students will be enrolled, and 115 students will be enrolled in the second cycle of studies.
II. Conditions and criteria for enrollment
a) In the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies
II.a.1. The condition for enrollment in the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies is passing the state matriculation examination or international matriculation examination, i.e. completed four-year secondary education according to the regulations that were in force before the introduction of the state matriculation examination. In the academic year 2026/2027, a person who has obtained a diploma for completing secondary education for a period of four years in the academic year 2019/2020 may enroll in the first cycle of academic studies, in accordance with the Decree with legal force on the implementation of the Law on Secondary Education during the State of Emergency. The condition for enrollment in the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies is the completion of four-year secondary education, in secondary schools verified by an act of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Macedonia.
The right to enroll in the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies is also available to domestic citizens who have completed secondary education abroad, as well as foreign citizens, under the same conditions as domestic citizens.
II.a.2. Candidates who have completed higher or higher education at related faculties and colleges may also enroll in the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies at the University. These candidates are enrolled outside the quota, up to a maximum of 20% of the total number of full-time students at the University determined in this Call for Enrolment.
II.a.3. Candidates are enrolled as full-time, part-time or distance learning students, with self-financing of the studies, in an amount determined by a decision of the Rector's Office of the University.
II.a.4. Candidates are enrolled without taking an admission exam.
II.a.5. The basic criterion for selection and ranking of candidates for enrollment in the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies, in addition to the academic achievement in secondary education, is the state matriculation exam, i.e. the international matriculation exam or completed four-year secondary education according to the regulations that were in force before the introduction of the state matriculation exam, and for persons who completed secondary education in the 2006/2007 academic year and earlier, the academic achievement in secondary education. The basic criterion for selection and ranking of candidates for enrollment in the first cycle of academic undergraduate studies for persons who will graduate in the 2019/2020 academic year is the academic achievement in secondary education. The evaluation of the candidates' academic achievement is expressed in points. Candidates can earn a maximum of 100 points, as follows:
For persons who will complete four-year secondary education in the 2019/2020 academic year, as well as candidates who have completed four-year secondary education according to the regulations that were in force before the introduction of the state matriculation exam and for persons who completed secondary education in the 2006/2007 academic year and earlier, the overall academic achievement in all subjects contributes 100%.
For other candidates, who are required to take the matriculation exam, the evaluation of academic achievement is carried out in the following way:
The overall academic achievement in all subjects contributes 60%,
The academic achievement in the state matriculation exam, i.e. the school matriculation exam or the final exam and the result of the external verification of the student's academic achievement contributes 40%.
II.a.6. The evaluation of the academic achievement in secondary education and the matriculation exam is carried out according to the criteria established in the Rulebook on the conditions and criteria for enrolling in the first cycle of university undergraduate studies at the University.
b) Second cycle academic master's studies
II.b.1. Candidates (domestic and foreign citizens) who meet the following general requirements have the right to apply for enrollment in the second cycle (master's) studies:
To have completed the first cycle of university studies, lasting four years at accredited universities, i.e. faculties in the country or abroad and have earned 240 ECTS;
To have completed the first cycle of university studies, lasting four years at appropriate or related undergraduate studies, at accredited universities, i.e. faculties in the country or abroad and have earned 240 ECTS.
II.b.2. Candidates are enrolled as full-time, part-time or as distance learning students with self-financing of the studies in an amount determined by a decision of the Rector's Board of the University.
III. Application and enrollment deadlines
a) First cycle of academic undergraduate studies
Enrollment for the first cycle of studies is carried out from the date of publication of the Call for Enrolment until 29.09.2026. The list of enrolled students will be published on 30.09.2065.
b) Second cycle of academic master's studies
Application of candidates will be carried out from the date of publication of the Call for Enrolment until 13.11.2025. The results for admitted candidates will be published on 16.11.2026.
If the number of students prescribed in this Call for Enrolment is not filled within the above-specified deadline, the University will announce additional enrollment deadlines, of which interested candidates will be informed in a timely manner.
IV. Place of implementation of the study program
The study programs of the first and second cycle of studies will be implemented at the headquarters of the University at bul. "Partizanski odredi" no. 99, Skopje.
V. Tuition fees
a) First cycle undergraduate academic studies
The tuition fee for the first cycle of studies is 61,500 denars per semester.
b) Second cycle academic master's studies
The tuition fee for the second cycle of studies is 61,500 denars per semester.
The University reserves the right to award scholarships for enrollment in all study programs in accordance with the general acts of the University.
VI. Documents for application and enrollment
When applying for enrollment, candidates submit the following documents:
a) for enrollment in the first cycle (undergraduate) studies:
1. a registered enrollment form (received at the University);
2. original certificates from all academic years (I, II, III, IV years);
3. state matriculation or international matriculation or completed four-year secondary education for persons who graduated in the 2019/2020 academic year as well as those who graduated according to the regulations that were in force before the introduction of the state matriculation;
4. birth certificate (for domestic citizens) and
5. proof of citizenship (certificate or decision) for domestic citizens, or a notarized copy of a passport for foreign citizens.
b) for enrollment in second cycle (master's) studies:
1. registered enrollment form (received at the University);
2. diploma, diploma supplement or certificate of passed exams, as well as a document proving knowledge of one of the world languages;
3. birth certificate (for domestic citizens) and
4. proof of citizenship (certificate or decision) for domestic citizens, or a notarized copy of a passport for foreign citizens.
Candidates applying for enrollment as part-time students, in addition to the above-mentioned documents, also submit an employment contract or a medical certificate.
Domestic or foreign citizens who have completed their education abroad should have their secondary or higher education documents validated at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Macedonia or submit proof that they have submitted documents for validation.
When enrolling, accepted candidates must submit:
1. two photographs (3x4 cm);
2. proof of paid study funds.

Application documents are submitted at the premises of the University of Skopje - Skopje, located at 99 Partizanski Odredi Boulevard, 1.000 Skopje, or at the facilities of the dispersed offices of the University.
