Teaching within the undergraduate study programme in Informatics (first cycle, four-year studies, 240 ECTS credits) is organised to enable students to continuously acquire the knowledge, practical skills and professional competences defined by the study programme.
The teaching process includes lectures and practical work, as well as active student participation through presentations, project work and independent assignments. Student progress is continuously monitored throughout the semester through various forms of assessment and evaluation.
How is the final grade determined?
Assessment is conducted throughout the semester and includes the evaluation of academic knowledge, as well as practical skills, active participation and students’ independent work.

Requirements for taking examinations
Regular attendance is an integral part of the learning and assessment process.
To take the mid-term examinations and the final examination, students are required to have at least 75% attendance.
To take the final examination, students must have accumulated at least 40% of the points available from the activities and assessments conducted during the semester.

Monitoring academic progress
Students can continuously monitor their academic progress throughout the semester. Following each assessment, the points achieved and assessment results are updated, providing students with an overview of their performance and the points accumulated during the semester.
Individual results and information on academic progress are available through the E-Student system. Students are also informed about published results through their official student e-mail address.
